Housing for low income disabled?

    Hello guys and gals!

    I was thinking, so many of us don't make much money due to the fact we can barely work. Do you think that would qualify some of us for the Habitat for humanity homes? Or even something like it?

    I think some of us would definitely qualify, though probably not all. I guess they have waiting lists, too. You could certainly call them.

    I work for low income housing in Ohio. Just call your local Merto Housing or HUD office for the guidelines in your state and county. Some (perhaps all) give disability preferences. There are many different housing programs that you may qualify for.

    I was just wondering for others on this board. I fortunatley have a husband who works many hours to make up for my lack of income so we wouldn't qualify as low income. Unfortunately we live in a country where it now takes two incomes to survive.
