I can almost tolerate the pain in my arms and legs and back...but the pain in my neck and shoulders and Jaw are just almost too much for me to take, I just don't know how much longer I can take of this.

The pain is sooooo much to the pain where I feel like I am going out of my mind.. I just don't know what to do with myself, nothing is working for the pain at all...I have tried everything. I'm sorry to be acting like this but I just want to cry, scream, hit, punch, and kick.
    thanks for listening.

    Love to all, Ann

Sorry to hear your in such pain and distress, these days when the pain is unrelenting can be so hard. I feel your pain.

Have you talked to you PCP/Rheumy or whoever cares for you. Have you ever considered a massage therapist or a chiroprator that is well trained in soft tissue treatment, chiros don't just "crack" backs, matter of fact my chiro didn't even do an adjustemnt to my back a few weeks back when I was in a trigger point flare as my pain was to much and he didn't want to add to it.

I know most people use pain meds, however I'm not hearing alot of good results and honestly even the pain management specialist don't know what to do. One med I would consider is a low dosage of a muscle relaxant, if you can relax the muscles a bit you may be able to break the flare. When did you last see or talk to your doctor, sounds like you need too.

I hope you are feeling better soon, my thoughts are with you.

Let us know how you are doing...

    Softest hugs,

Same with me. I can somewhat put up with the arms, legs and back, but when do examines my neck and shoulders he will trace lines with his fingers over the entire area and will say:

Your main pain is right here.

    He hits every single place.

Unfortunately (or fortunately) I can take eight percocet a day (two, four times a day).

Have you tried a strong pain killer? I know you might not want it, but it has given me such relief.

Hang in there, Ann. I am also on a heating pad most of the time and will throw some ibuprofen in the mix at times.

I wish you feel better real soon.

I've been in this type of pain for many months now. I find it truely unbearable. I just want to break down & cry my eyes out, but I KNOW this will just aggrevate my situation. So sorry to hear there are others, but good to know that I'm not the only one.I'm leaving for doc shortly to get pres for more pain meds.
I just read your bio, and it seems that you are in a similar situation as myself. Four kids, mine are all under 7, Oldest a girl and three boys! We can sympathize for each other, as there are few who understand living in this pain and trying to raise a family(large one!)
I find myself at my wits end ALOT as when I'm in pain I don't like to be around people-very tough. Wishing you health. Laura

You are having a really rough time. I know that there are some good comprehensive pain clinics in the Toronto area. I know it's a trip for you but it might be worth it. There is one just up the street from me, The Headache and Pain Relief Clinic. They deal with neck pain and TMJ as well as headaches. Perhaps there is something like that down in your area.

So sorry that this is so bad. You deserve to find some relief somewhere.
