hello, posting again while i am on p.c.
when u meet people that sort of know your situation but don't fully "get it".
If they ask what you have been up to and u want to tell them you've felt like rubbish so its been tough etc etc how do you say it in conversation.
i seem to say "i've been bad with my pains...." and it just does not sound right.i've stopped mentioning it as people don't get me..
    just wondered what you say?
    thanks.kirsty uk

I just say I am not feeling well and if the person asks what is the matter I tell them point blank I have pain related to Fibromyagia.

I tell people I've been 'under the weather'. Given how dramatically the weather can effect FMS, it seems like a good thing to say. Then, if they ask for more info, I'll elaborate a bit but I try not to go on and on about how bad I feel. I look for positive things to say as well.

    God bless,
