Got a cortisone shot in my wrist yesterday because my orthopedist thinks that I tore my TFC cartilage. I have been in blinding pain ever since. I know this is supposed to be normal, but I was wondering how long anyone else has had pain from a cortisone shot?

I pretty much can't use my arm at all right now. The doctor said it wouldn't last over 24 hours, but I don't know if it's different with people with FM/CFS.

    Thanks,
    Danielle.

I don't have FM/CFS but when I get shots in my wrist (I had surgery about a year ago due to a fall and broke some bones in wrist) - anyway, it takes about 2 days for the pain to go away.
