I'm curious to how long flares usually last and how long in between for most people. I became ill in February and it seems I only get worse everyday. Just wondering if I"m in a very long flare or this is how I"m always going to be.
    Thanks for your input.

After eleven years of the illness, my flares can last anywhere from one to three days. Years ago, it could be three months for me. And if I severely push it, I can be down for months. But if I take it easy and pace myself, it's usually only a few days that I'm really, really bad.

In the beginning, they would last months. Now they last a few days. It can also go on for a week or two if what flared it all to begin with was bad, or stressful.

I hope you come out of a flare soon. Take it easy.
