Please I need to know...I noticed since I've been on it my appetite has increased. That could be because I feel better.
But have definitely gained w/o increasing my food intake much.

This is a price to have to pay.
Let me know what's going on w/the rest of ya'll in this respect.

on Lyrica. In two months I gained almost 20 pounds. It also made my blood sugar run high.

My doctor cut me back and I hope to get off of it soon. It really didn't help my pain that much so the weight gain sure wasn't worth it.

Needless to say, I am really watching my food intake now trying to get this flab off me, lol.

I'm sure it affects all differently, maybe someone will come on with better results than I had.

    Good luck and hugs,

Lyrica is for nerve pain by diabetics, but can be used for other things from what I have been told by my doctor. I experimented, I was to take 3 50mg a day for Ulner nerve pain in my left hand and arm, but have cut it down to 2 a day. Since January 2006 I have only gained 4lbs., but that is upsetting to me

I have been on Lyrica for about 6 mos and it has worked pretty well for me compared to neurontin. I usually can gain weight by looking at food, however I have not noticed any weight gain. I will be interested to hear from others. Thanks for posing the question.
