I have CFS/FM for about 8 yrs and Lupus for about 4yrs.

I was prescribed Provigil while still able to work at my job and had great insurance. I have been out of work, disabled now for 3 yrs and have Medicaid.

Provigil worked great for me, better than any anti-depressants, pain meds, etc..

Medicaid refused the script for Provigil, and the Dr. appealed it for me and I was denied. The Dr. wont re-appeal for me.

Does anyone know of any organization that can help me with filling my script?

Any help will be greatly appreciated.

    Thank you,

Have you asked your doctor if he/she can assist you? My doctor gave me form to complete to get the medication at no charge. I don't know the name of the company.

I would give it a try. I have seen an ad on Partnership Prescriptions of America, or something like that, on TV.

    Hope this helps,

Thanks for the info. I am going to give it a try.

One other thing I found out, is if you go to Provigil's web site, they have something called "Reimbursement". You click on that and it gives a phone # for Cephalon for Assistance, that is administered by the National Organization for Rare Disorders (NORD).

When I feel a little better I am going to also call them.

    Thanks Again!
