    Hi All,

I read a short story once (I think in the Reader's Digest) about a man who had a used refrigerator he wanted to get rid of. So he put it out on his curb and put a free sign on it. About 2-3 weeks go by, and nobody has expressed any interest, and he would really like to get rid of it.

A friend mentions that perhaps because he's giving it away for free, people may think there's no value in it. So he suggests charging a nominal amount for it.

So he replaces the free sign with a For Sale sign, asking $50 for it. The next morning the refrigerator was gone. Somebody stole it.

plausible to me. Of course, I live in a high-class neighborhood. You'd have to set the price at about $60.

Here's an old joke involving a refrigerator.

Oh Dr., my husband thinks he's a refrigerator.

    Well, no harm in that.

But Dr., he sleeps w/ his mouth open, and the light keeps me awake.

I loved it. Also, Rock, good one!

Wow...made me laugh today. Pretty good trick.

In my neighborhood, someone would probably try to sleep in it or you could rent it as a studio!
