    my right foot is hurting at the ankle bone... it is swollen around it and my toe hurts. it hurts to be on it and my lower back hurts to....i need to know how to treat least till monday....the drs. are out. any suggestion will be appreciated........and if you know what the problem is let me know too.

    Hello I am sort of new here but I think it could be gout.
    thats when you have to much uric acid in your blood and it
    crystalizes on small joints like toes and fingers.
    I dont know but I hope you feel better.Does it hurt to
    touch it because gout does.? Best wishes MOMWINTERWHITE.

    I also once had a spiral fracture that hurt this way. Maybe get an xray. I had mine for three weeks and finally went to docs. By then it had started to heal. Go get it checked.

    my lower back started hurting and then the ankle now big toe. the ankle is swollen and looks feverish and hurts real bad when i walk , then when i am off it it just thumps pain..
    i am going to get everything together and just get off it.i took some flexril and motrin....hope it works..

    thank you all for the help again...i will try all these. and hope they work..when an ankle feels like someone hit it with a bat and swollen. makes your nerves anxious and scarred....
