    Hi everyone -
Me again with the Sea Salt. Can anyone relate to hypothyroidism, removal of thyroid, taking synthroid .075 for approx 30 years and drinking sea salt and using sea salt on food now. Not using regular salt. I know that thyroid and iodine are connected in some way and there doesn't seem to be as much iodine in sea salt. Are we getting enough iodine? I've started to drink this week and like it - would like to continue.

    Thanks much...............Member-Pat

Pat - if you take a multi-vitamin, it might contain enough iodine. The RDA is 150mcg. Otherwise, you can buy iodine supplements (pills or drops).
