Some years ago, 19 to be exact, when I first started with this forum, many of the girls were talking about some kind of diet. I can't remember what it was. Not eating something that I THINK was "no salt". But I could be wrong. They had to spend a lot of time in the grocery store reading labels. Does anyone remember this diet and Wwhat was it called? ggks

as far as no salt or low salt goes, unless you have high blood pressure, this is probably not only not necessary, but actually not a good idea, esp if you have any form of orthostatic intolerance or low blood volume (they actually tell OI patients & patients with low blood volume - both of which many CFS patients have - that increasing salt intake can help)

it is very important to have sodium and potassium levels in balance, though
