I am scared of warm weather and become worse in the heat. Not only do i get shaky, flush, dizzy, irritable, swollen slightly disoriented..., but i CANT SWEAT!
95DEGREES, EXERCISE, NOTHING MAKES ME SWEAT.
    I drink lotsa water.
Only diagnosis i have is cfs/fibro and possibly lyme (igenex positive only).
Anyone have a problem w/ this or heat sensitivity?

This is common in those of us who have a build up of toxins. You might consider getting tested and beginning a detox program. I had high mercury levels and found that after some time detoxing, I was sweating more and that's what you want.
Sherry Rogers talks about this in her book Detoxify or Die.

I have finally started to sweat again. For the last several years I had the same symptoms as you. But lately I've started to do stuff that normal people do. I'm about 90% better than a year ago.

I've been using a lot of supplements and I finally started following the advice of Russell Blaylock MD. The man is a saint!!!!!!!!

will teach your body how to sweat out toxins. I recently bought one but my CFS doctor has been telling me for years that I need to get one because of Sherry Rodgers book Detoxify or Die (which is never in stock online).

I dread the summer. I am so heat intolerant. I have broken the AC in the house three times by having it set too low. Now I keep it a little warmer and have fans going everywhere.

The funny thing is I do sweat but when I get in the sauna it takes a very long time to start to sweat. My doctor tells me that is because I was sweating "inefficiently", ie. not eliminating toxins.

When I first started using my friend's far infrared sauna, I did not sweat the whole time I was in it. Now I start to sweat at around 15 min. And it is not unbearable like a hot summer day is to me.

I am so happy you posted this problem.
I have never sweat a day, not even an hour in my life.
It can be 110 and I can run, play, or anything else and I have never sweat.
I just swell up and get red. When I was younger I passed out sometimes.

I have been checked out by lots of drs over the years and they can find no problem.

My aunt was the same way. I also understand some other of my dad's family had the same problem.

I just tell people they are gross and I am much to refined to do such a thing!LOL

It can be really scary at times. Thank goodness I live on the westcoast not too far from the ocean. I could not do the midwest.
    Thank you, Suzanne

    Thx again.
Suzanne...are u heat intolerant too? Do you happen to have hypoglycemia?

Now that i think about it...i dont recall ever sweating. I always had group exercise instructors look at me after class and ask if i was ok cause i was so flushed in the face and no sweat. Truth is...i actually did feel a little weird.

Now...since ive been sick with cfs/fibro and poss lyme....not only do i not sweat but i am becoming even more heat intolerant..sometimes just when its a lil warm or the heater is on in the winter i get all weirded out!

Some doctors have brushed it off..but it really effects my life! Its scary! I dont know which kind of specialist would take me most seriously. I wish i could try infra red w/ out buying until i knew it worked! I cant do saunas!

I have had several drs tell me I have an absence of sweat glands. Not totally but enough to cause me not to sweat. I HATE THE HEAT. I hate summer.

I grew up and spent most of my life in San Francisco. Heat was rarely an issue there. I do remember on rare days when it would get hot and the fog failed to roll in, I would be so miserable.

I was like you in school. They would always ask if I was ok. Maybe I was not but I did'nt know the differance.

I know this is not an FM or CFS thing because my aunt did not have those and lived actively to 105yrs. That always makes me wonder just how bad it can be for a person.

I don't know where you live but I have lived and visited places I could not do. The worst was Calif centeral valley. 105 was a regular day there.

If it is too warm for me I can not go to things I would love to go to. It is just not worth it. I simply become miserable.
