So I call the specialist to find out what the hold up is with being admitted to the hospital. The secretary calls me back and says oh she has been out sick all week and I have no idea what you are talking about. She may or may not come in and do some paperwork today. I am going home sick and I will leave her a note that you called. If she doesn't come in today she won't be back in the office until Tues.pm and she will be busy and probably won't call you until Wed. I am so angry and so frustrated right now. What irresponsiblity and lack of concern and communication. My feet are so swollen I can't get my shoes done up. I am currently on day 3 of a migraine. There has to be an answer somewhere. I feel like I am losing ground here. I am so tired and no energy at all. Thanks for your prayers and listening.
    Love ya all
    Cath

Do you think you need to get your son or someone to take you to the emergency room? I'm concerned about your feet being so swollen and the pain you're in.

I'm so sorry you're hurting. Try to take care, get some sleep and I'm praying for the pain to go away.

    Cath!!
Unbelievable! I'm so sorry you are going thur this.

Lord, i'm asking for an intervention for Cath, in all this, she really needs your help. Please move these Dr., nurses, and others, to compassion, and helping out Cath in her situation.

Please cover her with your wings, and hand of protection, giving her hope, and peace. Lord i come against that pain and swelling in the name of Jesus. Releasing Cath now in Jesus. Please help her body function properly and come into alignment with your word.

    In Jesus's Mighty name,
    Amen.

Praise you Lord, and thank you for Cath.

I guess we are both reeling right now from the lack of compassion our health care offers us as human beings.

I am numb with shock over my situtaion and what has given me some comfort is reading the Psalms and identifying with David's pleas for help.

As you have said to me we have to hang on to Jesus because what other option to we have. I know the anger and total frustration you feel right now must be off the charts.

I am praying and lifting you up now. I pray that you can HEAR from God on this one.

Father I pray for comfort and healing for Cath. Let her feel your love and take her anger from her heart and let it not stay for long. Let your love flow into her now that will melt the feelings of anger and frustration.

Give her hope in her future and wisdom for the immediate present. Tell her what she needs to do now to be safe. Put a hedge of protection around her now and do not let any harm come to her from all of this waiting. We pray

that the swelling in her feet will diminish and that she will start feeling better immediately. Father we don't understand your ways. Help us to trust in you even in these dark days we have been in. Give us a hope and a purpose in this suffering. Let it not be for naught.

God bless you Cath. You are a great friend.

    Love ya,

    Nancy

I don't know how I would make it through this without your love, prayers, support and encouragement. You are all special and God is using you all in spite of your own circumstances. You all are truly a blessing to me. What a party we are going to have when all is said and done!!

I am so sorry that you are suffering at the hands of our great Canadian health care system. I continue to pray for you many times a day. I am praying that you are admitted to hospital, that the doctors are able to do something about your swelling and that you are given the patience to deal with all this "stuff".
