Yesterday, I bought a "memory foam" pillow, and last night, I gave it a trial run. I still woke up hurting, and I still had interrupted sleep, but the pillow definitely made me feel more comfortable while I was in bed. Since I also had my weekly Avonex shot yesterday (that's for MS, not fibro), it's possible that some of the muscle aches I have today are related to the shot. But I am cautiously optimistic about this pillow. These pillows are very expensive, but this one was on sale, plus I had a coupon for an additional 10% off; so it wound up costing $36. That's a lot better than the $65 regular price or even the lower prices I've seen on some web sites that sell these pillows. Just thought I'd share the information in case others are interested in this type of pillow. (They also make memory foam mattresses and mattress toppers. I'm really tempted to try the mattress topper. For me, the memory foam seems to provide both softness and firmness at the same time! --Laura R.M.
