I am requesting the names of doctors who specialize in systemic roundworm infections.

I have been infected for several years throughout my body with roundworms; even though I have taken anti-parasitic medication with some success, I am unable to clear my body completely. I recently passed a very large roundworm, and I can feel them crawling in my body. My greatest concern is that I can feel one crawling between my skull and my brain. This causes pain, burning and pressure inside my skull. I am so sick and scared, this is very disturbing to me. I am afraid of damage done to my brain and body. For the past ten years I have had CFS / FM and have learned that parasitic infections are not that uncommon with these conditions.

I am hoping that someone will be able to refer me to a doctor or clinic who specializes in treating systemic roundworm. Maybe you have ideas of where I might look or who I could contact for help. The doctors I have seen are inexperienced with this and at this point do not know how to help me. My attempts to locate a specialist have been unsuccessful.

I would be most grateful if you could help me in any way.

I'm sorry that I don't have a referral for you, but just wanted to say you have my sympathy.
    That sounds absolutely horrible!
It seems like I remember seeing something on TV about people who had roundworm or other parasites. How did you get them?
I hope that you get that treatment you so desperately need - I can't imagine being able to feel them. Can you call your local hospital and ask for a referral?

Please let us know how it goes!

Can you try an infectious disease specialist, one specializing in tropical diseases.

I have read articles in magazines in doctors office about the various worms that can be felt so I do sympathize.

Parasitic infections are not uncommon for the general population, period. Anyone who isn't open to this is really missing a piece of the puzzle.

    Just my opinion.

Thanks for the information. I ordered his book, it seem quite complete and I may fine some supplements that would support me and detox programs. I am encouraged that he might know someone who specializes in systemic worms. I do beleive I need surgery, at least for the one in my head. So I need to find someone in allopathic medicine.

Thanks again, I'm looking forward to contacting Overman.

I will let you know how everything works out. This is the first time in a long time that I feel encouraged.

I am at the learning and gathering information stage and hopefully I can have a phone consult with him.

I want to thank you for your kindness in taking the time to respond to my messages.

It is very difficult when you need help and have no place to turn. I feel supported by your contacts. Thank you.
