I think I figured out what I have, and what is causing my symptoms.
I know that I have hepatitis C, but it is in remission, my liver functions are normal, my biopsies were perfect, my cryglobulins are negative. So the hepatitis specialist says it cant be the hepatitis making me so sick.
I was just diagnosed with adrenal-hypothalamic-pituitary dysfunction. My doctor sent me to a neurologist for orthostatic hypotension. the neurologist said I have autonomic neuropathy. The symptoms of this are adrenal-hypothalamic-pituitary dysfunction, orthostatic hypotension, cold body temperature (without thyroid abnormalities), intolerance to hot or cold, bladder dysfunction, bowel dysfunction, I am sure there are more, but I have all of these, and the neurologist is pretty sure it is my autonomic nervous system.
Anyway, I did a search on autonomic neuropathy with hepatitis C, and it can cause it, but only when the hepC is very active, cryoglobulins high. So this is a possibility, but unlikely.
I did another search with autonomic neuropathy and herpes, and WHOA!!! Came up with a bunch of stuff. it seems that in a normal healthy person, herpes just causes the sores, they are bothersome, but not a big health risk. In an immunocomprimised person, herpes can be a serious disease, and can cause transient autonomic neuropathy, and myalgia, which I have. that is why it comes and goes. Sometimes I feel great, other times I feel terrible. I beleive I am immunocomprimised because of having hepatitic C, lyme disease, and who knows what else I have had, possible mono.
My doctor wants me to do a round of IV vitamin C. I would have to go 3 times a week for a month. I may try it.

I posted a msg last night about a connection between eczema, herpes, etc. I also have been doing tons of research and in my opinion it is a virus causing all of our trouble, a compromised immune system as a result of the virus.

Has been implicated in research into this illness. I have all the same problems you listed above plus slow waves in the brain which is indicitive or autonomic dysfuntion involving the deep structures in my brain including the brain stem.
Is that the treatment!!!!! IV vitamin C !!!!!!
Did 7your doctor give you any rationalle for that treatment. I,m interested because I,m being referred back to neuro soon after my next eeg to check my slow waves and brain stem function.
    Any feedback would be appreciated

The IV vitamin C treatment is for the hepatitis C, herpes and any other viruses/bacteria I may have. Vitamin C has been shown to cure viruses in some cases. Now if it is viruses causing the autonomic neuropathy, then i would think I better get rid of the viruses.
If its caused by something else, maybe not. i dont know. But I ma willing to give it a shot.
