peter breggin, david healy, and ann blake tracy. they are opponents of ssri medication for long term use(over a year). they all say that there is evidence for brain damage when thse drugs are used for long periods of time. they also say that when people try to discontinue these drugs that withdrawl is confused with a return of symptoms. they say that when re uptake is interfered with that seratonin is not metabolized by the body and the receptor neurons are damaged.they point to lots of cases like school shooting,violence, and suicide. i am just after others opinons and am not trying to stir up anything as i know that a lot of people take them.
