I had a response to my last question that my dizzyness cold be because of IBS.

Yeah I think i have IBS too, the doctor is doing more tests though.

tests after tests after tests, They did a upper GI and a

lower GI and now they are saying they are planning on a

colonoscopy all because diarehea ( I am sure that is misspelled) sorry

I have had it for about 5 months and about 20 times a day

too. I have lost about 20 pounds now, but that concerns the

doctor. (not that I did not need to lose it mind you) but

I have not been trying either. She thinks I could be also

looking at colon cancer. She wants to be sure because it

does run in our family. Have you went though all these tests

    to determine IBS too?

    Dear Christina:

I had all the tests done also but it was not conclsive that I had IBS. They did find some polyps, but they were benign.

However, my doc says that I do have IBS because of the
alternating constipation with diarreha. It is so mortifying.
I too get very dizzy, but I think it is part of the FM and CFS not necessarily the IBS.

Please don't think you have cancer yet hon. Let them do all the testing and then you will know.

Hope all turns out well. I will be praying for you. Please let us know the fina results.

    God Bless.

    Hugs,

Don't get too upset or stressed.
Yes,..I too had all those darn tests, too confirm my DX of IBS. Not fun. Same symptoms as you tho not as much of a weight loss(some,I think 9lbs in 2 months)?
Put it back on since then :(

But I still get BAD episodes of IBS where I can't hold anything in for days. I lose weight all the time.
My weight is up and down with this IBS.(crap!)lol
    Hang in there
and best of Luck to you~
    Is the colonoscopy sceduled yet?
    Hugs

Thank you for the responces. I have not been feeling well

the last few days, and have been having troubles at work,

besides all the illness problems. I went home on Wednesday

evening (living in Arizona) and my air conditioner motor was

shot. The house felt like a sauna. So with all the other

things happening it did not make matters any better.

In responce to your question Tandy. No, they have not

scedualed the colonoscopy yet and they are suppose to do an

MRI too. I have to go see the Gastrologist to get the thing

scedualed. All this insurance stuff. It has to be ordered by

such and such person or I might have to pay out of pocket

    for it.

Thank you for the prayers Francey54.

I hope you are both well as you are reading this. I am just

starting my work day right now. I hope it goes by quickly.

    Best wishes,

    Christina

but haven't had any tests to "prove it" my doctor accepts the fact with my symptoms and that is that. Sees no reason to do any tests I guess. No blood in the stool, etc.
Doesn't make me dizzy either[This Message was Edited on 08/12/2005]
