I recently heard that if you put a number in your cell phone under ICE paramedics look at that and call that person. You can put in as many ICE numbers as you want and distinquish them as ICEA, ICEB, etc. Didnt think much about it until I saw on the signs in Illinois that they use to announce Amber alerts they were requesting that people do this. and then I found out from an employee at Barnes Hospital (one of the biggest) that they check for this in the ER. Good idea especially for your kids.

I haven't done this yet, but I do plan to. Thanks for the reminder. It is a good idea.

Another thing that my sister and i have done, is to put the relation after the name. I have David (husband) and Stacie (emergency contact) that way if i were hurt, or unresponsive, someone could look in my contacts and find the best person to call. That way there are a couple of ways to get the people you need to you.
