I'm a newbie

    Hi everyone
    my name is Brandie i am 26yrs old and was recently diagnosed with CFS in july. I was put on Wellbutrin, but had an allergic reaction, so doc put me on Effexor. I am also taking guafensin and tradozone. I really am not sure if this meds are helping, i feel a litle better but not fully fuctional.... I also work full time and go to school (i take online classes). I also have constant headaches and sinus infections....anyone have any suggestions on what i should say to my doc to get feeling a little better?? any suggestions would be helpful thanks!!

    I work full-time too and totally understand how tough that
    alone can be.

    I did want to WELCOME you to the boards!!!

    When you need to be up lifted try the Chit-Chat board. It
    is a lot fun...WELL...actually it's... you just have to jump
    in and see for yourself.

    So nice to have you join us, but sorry you have this illness.

    Can't help with the doctor, unless you make a list of what is troubling you, and thy to get him to listen on your next visit.

    I have controlled my sinus attacks, migraine, cluster headaches drinking half my body weight in ounces of water a day, and taking 1/4 teaspoon of Sea Salt throughout the day.

    This sounds so simple, but most of us are dehydrated, and that could be causing the headaches and allergies.

    A good book to read concerning this is; 'WATER: For Health, For Healing for LIfe' by F. Batmanghelidj,MD.
