Hi. I have been reading your board for a few weeks now. I am 42 and have had FM seems like my whole life. Does anyone have MPS? I have TMJ and Trigger points everywhere. I have heard Dr.'s say "referral pain" more times than I care to. I have asked my Dr. about very many mostly pea sized hard lumps on my arms and legs and sides that are very sore. He said it was normal for me. What does that mean? Is it typical of MPS? Are any of you having this?

You can hunt around for a good physical therapist who can work some of the tension out. There is a very good book on fibromyalgia & chronic myofascial pain syndrome by Devon Starlanyl, MD. Most major book stores have it, or you can sometimes find it on Ebay.
