Hello. I am reading a book called from fatigued to fantastic by Jacob Tietelbaum. And in it he has all kinds of herbal remedies. One of them is Elderberry extract. He says it can help relieve flu like symptoms and shorten the duration of the illness. In a study, the people who took 4 tablespoons a day(3 for kids) were completly better in 2 to 3 days. thought you guys would want to know! ZOe[This Message was Edited on 06/02/2003]

That is the first book I bought on FM/CFS! It is very good, I learned a lot from it.

I have FM not CFS, but I have heard of Elderberry before. It is good for a lot of different ailments.

Elderberry bushes grow wild here in Louisiana, they make pretty clusters of white flowers and then purple berries.

My grandfather used to make wine out of the berries when I was a child, very good that way too!!!!

I can't help with your question. Why not direct a post to 'Madwolf', he would be able to tell you what you are asking here.
