I was diagnosed with a weakening of the left ventricle of my heart seven years ago. And for the last three years, I've been getting heart pain. So the new doc ordered an echocardiogram. And now I'm being told it's normal. All ventricles look normal. Did this miraculously clear up? What about the heart pain I've been getting? There is no way this just plain fixed itself when I'm still getting symptoms. I just don't know what to tell the doc when I go in for my appointment in two weeks. All I know is, it's not normal like they're now claiming and I'm sick of getting the whole "labs/tests are normal" garbage when there is a problem.

My pcp also did an echocardiogram which was normal so am going to see a specialist at some point-can you see a specialist? That way you get a 2nd opinion plus someone who really knows what's what in the heart dept. The way I figure it is if the pcp is wrong re: your heart then you are screwed-it's worth getting another opinion.

I'd get a second opinion. Better to be safe than sorry.

I agree with the others that have said you should get a second opinion about your heart.

Did you start the new amour(spelling?) thyroid meds?

I started the Armour yesterday. Too soon to tell if it will do anything, but I'm hopeful.

Glen, no injection. And the tech was really inept.

My doc appointment is in two weeks, so I'll discuss it all with her and see then. I'm just so sick of them always telling us every test is normal and then later we find out there were problems they missed.
