My Mom gave me a quick inexpensive way to feel better when going to bed.
Take a hand towel and wet it. Squeeze out the excess water, but keep it moist. Then put it in a gallon size zip-lock baggie. Do not close the baggie and put it in the microwave for 1 1/2 mins. on each side. More if it doesn't feel that warm. Then close it up and wrap it in another hand towel. Put it on an area that is super sore.
    Nice, eh?
    Soft teddy hugs.

get a tube sock. fill with REAL rice. ( not minute rice)

zap in microwave 1-5 mins depending on your microwave. I suggest you test it every minute til you get it to desired temp.

NEVER excede 5 mins. it cold burn in microwave OR burn your skin when you use it!

anyway, I take mine to work with me, to chuch, I can not LIVE witout my sock..

it is a portable heating pad.
you can use kid socks for ha nd warmers.

I discovered the other day that it works great for headaches too. and wonderful for cramps from PMS.

there are other posts about it hear. I think it says microwave heating pads or something.

oh. put however much rice in you want. I leave mine fairly empty so I can wrap it over shoulders or whatever. that way I can manipulate it as much as I need to.

    God bless,
