    Hi Everyone,

I am really feeling the need for some care and compassion today. I went into the doctor today to get injections into my hips and the one side was not bad, the other side was agony. He had to find the worst spot and inject the Kenalog there, but the inflammation was so bad that he had to double the dose and actually move the needle around the site. I cried. I have given birth three times in my life and this was even worse than that. He felt so bad, however, I hope the means justify the ends as it will numb my hips for awhile. Anyway, feeling the need for some TLC today.

Sorry to hear about your pain. Would either heat or cold packs provide some temporary relief?
I can't tolerate a phlebotomist moving a needle in my vein when drawing more than one tube of blood; cannot even imagine the pain of having a large needle moved into an area that is already inflamed and painful.

Hope you are feeling better soon. Take care of yourself, gently.
