The past 5 years have been a hellish rollercoaster ride of adrenal burnout and now recovery. I never had insomnia (waking 4-5 hours into my sleep cycle nightly) prior to the adrenal crash. NOW, it seems the adrenals are doing better, but corisol is high at night. I have tried every remedy and nothing seems to get me through the night--I awaken with a start, heart races and then flop around for a few more hours. I am trying Seriphos right now at night. It's been 5 days on one capsule nightly. It makes me VERY groggy the next morning into early afternoon. I've read about it NOT causing grogginess the next day, but even at this dose it is causing this side effect. It gives me comfort to know that I am not the only one dealing with this insanity. Please feel free to chime in with your thoughts or suggestions. I'm doing what I can not to go on Ambien CR.
