    hi all,

i filed an ssd claim recently and received a phone call this morning from the local office. the woman mentioned that she was going to have someone else call and follow-up with me to see if i qualify for ssi. i have just over $2000 in an roth ira. does this count as an asset? i know they consider a 401k an asset, so i assume an IRA is also considered an asset??
