I was wondering is it possible to have lyme disease and
have no pain? I was under the impression lyme can give
joint pain untill I read a few articles stating someone
could just have cognitive problems. Is this true?

My knees were even visibly swollen when I first became ill. Then the joint pain left and I really didn't have any for many years. It flaired back up during a stressful marriage in 96and then left. I have since had a severe back injury and am in pain all of the time now. Daneen

    Hi Dream,

I posted this exact question on the lyme site and most of the people that responded have not had any pain or very little. I think like everything else it hits everyone differently. I am in the process of being tested for time will tell.

I had no pain for many years with Lyme before it finally surfaced in my feet. I probably went 10 years with no pain.
Of course I went for years thinking I had CFS only to test positive for Lyme.
