Is the Bovine (New Zealand) Colostrum

    the same thing as Transfer Factor, or is it only a component? I am new to this particular board and have not read much of what has been discussed..Please bare with me if this is a stupid question...

    Colostrum contains transfer factors. Kinda like making Beer from barley.. You can take the root ingredient or a lot of it and might have some effect, but needa go for the derivitave for the kick that you want. Plus you can go with antigen specific ones and target a particular virus..

    Hi, Ameilia,

    I'm one of the 'oldies' on CFIDS board. but have been absent for quite a while, because of severe relapse.

    I'm currently undergoing T.F. treatment.......
    From what I know, TF is using ist milk from organically raised animals, which was injected (?) different forms of antigens....hopefully, will kick start our weakened immune system.

    Bovine colostrum is a component of TF...

    Hm.........hope I got this info right.
