Is this problem an FM thing too?

Vulvadynia and Vestibulitus; are these common with many of you, too?? My gyno says Vestibulitus is an autoimmune disease, but didn't associate it with FM. I don't make a habit of disclosing that I have FM anymore, however, so she probably didn't catch it on my paperwork. Anyway, I was searching on this site and a few years ago there are some posts referring to this problem as part of FM.

I have read about the low oxalate diet and my gyno has had a estroil/testosterone cream made for me. I'm not better yet, but she didn't schedule me back for 3 months.

What else can I be doing for this, it seems to flare when the rest of my body flares (when I do too much).

I went through the Interstitial Cystitis diet, and even had a hydrodilation of my bladder done to no avail until I finally got referred to a specialist and found out my Vulvodynia, vestibulitis and bladder spasms were due to chronic yeast infections.

What "cured" me, thanks to my doc:
6 Week protocol of diflucan therapy for yeast infections
plain white cotton undies, washed in perfume free, dye free detergent, double rinsed
no soap down there - Summer's Eve Feminine Wash Sensitive skin only
biofeedback treatment to learn how to really squeeze and then really release the vaginal muscles in spasm - having my vulva hooked up to a biofeedback machine was the weirdest thing I have ever done, hands down, but it worked

My doctor is Elizabeth Stewart - she's a gyn but now her practice is devoted exclusively to vulvodynia - so many women have this problem. She has a book called "The V-Book".

    Good Luck
