i WAS SLEEPING well until I changed RA doctors and
began receiving new meds and we haven't found the
right one yet! It is 3:15 in the morning and I have
not had one drop of sleep. Grrrrrrrr. I will soon
log off and go back upstairs and maybe read till its
time for breakfast. I will get up to eat, have my
meds and probably go back to bed till lunch! I hate
this kind of crazy schedule....I guess all the changes
are hard to do but hope the end result will be good.
Hoping to re-try Remicade in near future...
So I am here when I should be asleep! I'm tired, but
my mind/body refuse to sleep now...will have no trouble
    after breakfast and meds....
Boy this is the pits. Really the pits. And my feet have
a bit of swelling and inflammation on soles of feet yet
do not want any more medication. Think my body could
use 20mg a day of Prednisone instead of 10....it would
help ....maybe...with my foot inflammation. I see RA
doctor again in 2 weeks and I may....GROAN..ask to up
my Prednisone to 20mg per day (10 in a.m. 10 more in
pm.) and see if it helps. I have had more sleep aids
taken earlier at normal times but tonight nothing is
working! :>( I am let-down, upset, angry, hate not
being asleep...oh gawd i hope this will be over soon.
Also fighting a head/chest cold!! I feel mean! I'd like
    to SCREAM! Oh well.

I have sleep problems at night too.Without meds it would take me 2 or 3 hours of laying there before going to sleep. With my meds I can sleep at most 7 hours.I also have a problem sleeping in the daytime.I lay down and rest when I get too tired but I very seldom get to sleep.Lack of sleep makes all the other symptoms worse too.Hopefully your Dr. will soon get the right combination of meds for you.Sending you (((((((sleep))))))). bejo

    aS i felt I would, I went back to bed after a 5 a.m.
breakfast with my meds. I slept till 10:30 a.m. and
am now into my e-mail then cook lunch! I am grateful
I got some rest but think my current difficulty in
sleeping truly the its. As you said, it can make other
problems and symptoms feel worse. I needed to vent this
early a.m. and did but still feeling a bit let-down.

thanks for writing. If it happens again tonight I may
do same bloomin thing. God I hope this time of sleep
difficulties is over! I do know of one personal friend
who has it bad and I don't know when she last slept at
night. She also makes it up days . She doesn't have
a computer and haven't heard from her in ages, so I don't
know her current situation. I may check with a friend of
mine I am in frrequent touch with..

I posted on sleep, too. I can't seem to get my Dr. to undestand that the med that he thinks is so good for me doesn't make me sleep well and drags me down all day. I crave good sleep, but it just doesn't happen often. I, too don't sleep when I lie down during the day, but I'm so tired I can't keep my eyes open or move. I am aware of every single thing going on around me though. It is soooo boring. I'm seeing a new Dr. today and I hope she has some ideas :) Sending good sleeping vibes to all who are suffering today. {{{{{sleep}}}}} Lendi
