    Hi Everyone,

We have not long come home from church and my husband and I have God all over us at the moment.

This is a great thing and quite overwhelming.

On Saturday the 31st Australian time that will be your Friday the 30th in America. Shane and I are going to have an embryo placed into my womb with the hope of conception.

This has been a long process.

Once we realised that we needed IVF we had to wait another 18 months for a subsidised treatment. This means we only need to pay half what would normally be expected pay.

The time is now, on Wednesday the 28th that is your Tuesday the 27th, they will do the egg collection and take Shane's sperm sample. Then they will marry the egg and the sperm and incubate them and on Saturday the 31st that is your Friday the 30th they will implant the embryo in me and God willing we will conceive.

We are going to church again tonight for more prayer, we really want God all over this one.

I keep giving my fears to God about how difficult it will be for me or us to cope if we get disappointed. Getting these emotions off my chest and over to God has been the most that I have ever known to have needed him.

I love my church so much right now, I am just really thankful to God for my church. The alter call this morning was for people needing a miracle and God was totally all over both of us.

We are having specific people in the church pray for us this week.

I am also asking for general prayer from anyone else out there who would like to pray for us.

If you want to pray specifically at a particular time that would be at 8.00am Saturday the 31st Australian time that is about 5.00pm Friday 30th New York time. Pray that we conceive at this time.

If you want to pray in general, pray all this week that the IVF procedure will be more than successful.

    Thanks everyone,

We hope that you are having a great day.

    God bless,

    Misch

Shane spoke to our pastor last night. He is a very good man and understands discretion. They prayed together and he is going to give our need anonymously to the prayer chain that we have at church.

This action in itself has really relieved my burdon, we both still really sence Gods presents which is a good feeling.

It was nice to wake up this morning to your response, every little piece of support means so much to us.

    Thank you,

    Have a great day,

    God bless,

The emotions are still running high. Last night I had my trigger injection, this means that my eggs will now all be released and ready for retrieval tomorrow morning. That final injection was a very emotional time for both of us.

Thank you for your prayer Blessings.

    Hope you are all well.

    God bless,

    Misch

It is called Supernatural Childbirth, by Jackie Mize.

Also Shane and I are also keen to adopt a child from Africa or elsewhere. We are completely open to this as well. We are currently on a 2 year waiting list for that as well.

We live in Australia and there is the opertunity to do this. It is a long slow process, we don't mind we know that God wants to bless us and we are opening every avenue posable and know that it is all worth it no matter what the outcome.

The book that I am talking about talks about praying specifically for the areas that you know that you are below average and asking God to make you above average.

Since Jesus died on the cross sin and sickness have been defeated. I am not preaching at anyone, this is what I believe and how I live my life anyone reading this has there own choice as to how they want to live their life.

I believe that since Christ died on the cross we now live in a dimention of wholeness and that is what I believe for myself. I believe that when we pray that we are as well as the spirit rehlm says we are that eventually our physical catches up to the spiritual.

Thanks Debbie, your prayers are powerful.

Blessings and wholeness coming my way to you too.

    God bless,

    Misch

Have had my most emotional day yet. I have been yelling at God and everything. When they collected my eggs this morning there was only one egg retreaved successfully that is developing. There are also two others that may develope as the day goes on we find out tomorrow. This is very dissappointing, there could have been anything up to 10 eggs or more out of this operation. At this point it is still an egg even having it become an embryo when joined with the sperm is a step that might not succeed.

If there was more at this stage we might have been able to freeze some and used them for backup or even future pregnancies. This way there is no back up and the pressure is a lot to deal with just knowing that.

To have the first stage of this process be as it is, was not the outcome that we would have wanted.

This is all a numbers game the more you have to start with obviously the better the chances at each stage as you might lose some.

So there you have it, I have sorted my head out logically now and I know what I am up against and we just have to continue to pray and hope that God can really perform a miracle here.

It was great to have your post to read, we have a lot of people praying for us and I sure hope they are because we need every little bit of it.

We are now praying that the other two eggs come good for us and that all three eggs successfully transform to healthy embryos.

You are a strong lady having to go through those operations. I visualised myself in your position and those operations would have been a real challenge.

Blessings to you and may God give you the desires of your heart.

    God bless,

    Misch & Shane

The scientist rang me this morning to say that one of the eggs has transformed to an embyo.

This is great news because one is 100% better than none.

    Thank you for your prayers.

If you want to pray specifically we need prayer that the embyo will attach itself to my womb. This will be implanted Saturday morning 31st Jan at 8.00am Australian time, which is Friday 5.00pm New York time.

Thanks again, I'm feeling a lot better today although there is still a long way to go. Usually they try 2 embryos and that would have given us a 60% chance of conception statistically. That means our chances are about 30% chance of conception.

I hope you are all having a good day.

    God bless,

    Misch

The embryo transfer was cancelled due to the embyo not being healthy enough to transfer.

I was pretty upset at the stage that I knew we only really had one egg to count on. This really is a numbers game and there really weren't enough eggs retreived. When I found out that they couldn't transfer I was pretty ok.

Today I feel a bit sad and I am trying to prepare my mind to fight and hope again.

They might be running another subsidised treatment in 6 months, if not 6 months there might be one in 12 months, if not in 12 months we might be able to save up enough money to do the full payment within 12 months.

There is hope for a better result on one's second attempt because they can alter the treatment to suit the ladies body from what they have learnt on the first attempt.

    Thank you for your prayers.

We are going to continue to pray for healthy above average sperm and healthy above average eggs.

All thing are possible through Christ Jesus.

I hope you are all having a good day.

    God bless,

    Misch
