JAMINHEALTH More on sauerkraut

    Hey Jam,

    What do you serve with it? I never know! Salad seems redundant since the SK is a veggie. I printed out your info on what you put in it and now I need some suggestions!

    My neighbor and I used to make it every summer and now she has cancer and can't do it. My hands won't allow me to make it by myself. And it's hard on the stomach also...but it is soooo good.

    you work your kraut like you would normally do, then add some green tomatoes, a few banana peppers and One slice of Jalepena pepper on the top before you seal your jars.

    don't forget the skillet of cornbread to go with it.

    Iam Dutch and have been brought up with saurkraut, we served it with potatoes a bit of gravy and a smoked sausage or thick bacon with the fat over the potatoes....

    yummy and pumpernikel bread yeah that too its yum as well....
