    does anyone know how they caculate your disability?what if you can not do jobs you did in the past?as they say

    I know they have a bluebook of sorts and will use your ICD9 codes. These are codes that your doctor uses for billing. The codes stand for a condition, illness, well child and the codes go on and on to describe the nature of your visit. They also weigh what you say on your application, what your doctor says and more. It's pretty complicated.

    I don't know what happens in the arena of "can you do anything type of work." In my case, I am told that the evaluation is for permanent disability, which means any kind of work.
