    Almost hell now, fibromyalgia
    painful shoulders, crying a river
My life is old there, older than the trees
Younger than the mountains, blowing like a breeze

    Pain relief, take me home
This is not a place, I belong
    Fibromyalgia, morning pain
    Take me home, pain relief

All my mem'ries, so foggy now
Anger's lady, stranger to the old me
Dark and dusty, painted on my face
Misty taste of medicine, teardrop in my eye

    Pain relief, take me home
This is not a place, I belong
    Fibromyalgia, morning pain
    Take me home, pain relief

I feel its pain, in the mornin' hours it calls to
    me
TV ads remind me of the life I had far a-way
And walkin' down the hall I get a feeling'
That I should have been cured yesterday, yesterday

    Pain relief, take me home
This is not a place, I belong
    Fibromyalgia, morning pain
    Take me home, pain relief

Thanks...this took my mind off how bad I am feeling this morning.

LIKE Mozart, Bellini, Gershwin, etc. Who knows what they might have written had they lived a few more years.

    Nice lyrics, Karen. Very apt.

Some of John's titles might be revised had he also gotten CFS/FM.

I say the Battle's Not Over
    The Harder I fall
    Rainclouds on my shoulder
    Pain Killer High

Actually met John Denver in person once over 25 years ago. He was staying at a holistic health practioner's home who was my boyfriend's brother.

He was there looking to get taller....yup.....taller.

He had him on some sort of table that resembled "the rack" of medevial times and also used the boots you hang from in a doorway that supposedly uses gravity to stretch yourself.

He was very quiet when we had dinner and a bit snobbish.
