Anyone have experience in getting treatment for Fibro at either Johns Hopkins (Baltimore, MD) or Georgetown Hospital in DC (Georgetown supposedly has a good program of doctors that were taught by one of the pioneering doctors of fibromyalgia). I have been thinking of getting a fresh look at my case and treatment since I haven't really gotten anywhere substantial with my current pain management doctor. He's doing his best, but I'm starting to worry there are more elements to my case then just Fibromyalgia.

My two top choices for a fresh doctor is through Johns Hopkins pain medicine program, or Georgetown University Hospital's pain program. I was wondering if anyone here had been to one or the other and had an experience to share? Thanks

I drove for hours to get to the closest major hospital with a well-known doc who was a specialist in fibro and chief of their rheumatology dept., etc. .... and to make a long-story a short one ... he told me the same things that my internist told me and was going to prescribe me the same things ... and that's after he took dozens of tubes of blood, etc.

Wish I had never made the trip!!
