JUST A FRIENDLY REMINDER....

There are some of us (probably most of us) who have a difficult time reading/focusing/comprehending. When you take the time to write a long post, it would be very helpful if you put in paragraphs breaks after a few lines.

I'm saying this is a reminder because I know I've seen this request before.

Speaking for myself, if a post is lengthy and has no paragraph breaks in it, I have a very difficult time understanding it. It's a shame because I know the person has taken a lot of time and thought into typing such a long post and I just have to skip it sometimes.

I hope no one is offended by this request. Just trying to make it easier for all of us.

    Thanks, Lolalee

    I agree.

I would love to read some...but...if they are too long I can't.

My eyes jump around.. and I just can't read it unless it is broken up!

I think most will agree...if they have the problem...and if not they will try to understand where we are.

Yes, I need them too. It seems to break it up and make it
    seem less long.

Sometimes I print it out so I can focus on the main points with my highlighter.

Sorry, just another one of my coping tools.

Thanks for the request, I appreciate it Lolalee.

If it is a very long post with no breaks in it, I find that I just cannot read it.
My eyes jump all around & I end up just skimming it :(

I have the same problem. Not only paragraph breaks, but run on sentances with no punctuation also confuse me.
When I see a post like that, I skip over it because I can't read it.

I have to skip so many posts that I would love to read because it is all just a big jumble to my eyes. Breaking it up would be so helpful.

    Thanks for posting this reminder.

I write my posts with spacing so I can read them!lol

and try to see that it says what I'm trying to say.

I'm afraid long posts with no spacing are something I

can't handle. I can read about 6 sentences and then I'm

done trying to make since of it.

Oh, how I agree with you so much!

Small paragraphs with breaks inbetween paragraphs. Also, not in all caps. And ... when the entire post is in double spacing is just as hard to read!

I agree with this-it is very difficult to read any posts without spacing.

Using proper message boards etiquette (not just this board-I belong to several professional boards) is a must.

It is considered rude and yelling when one types in all capital letter...so for myself when I open a post in all caps...I usually don't even bother to read it.

Sorry if that sounds rude....it is just the truth for me...LOL.

    Great observation and reminder,

    Karen :)

    A very

    good

    idea.

(Re: all caps, I have seen some postings that say they are easier to read by those w/ vision problems.)

I have a hard time reading them. I noticed a few posting in all caps.
