I have been in SO much pain the past several days, I feel like Im going crazy sometimes.
taking 2 vicodin doesnt even make it go away.
my toes, and my feet & my hips are the worst.
I dont know what to do anymore for this FM pain.

I just wanna curl up and cry...

I am sorry you are having a hard time. I completely understand. I am currently having good luck with Ultram and Tylenol Gel Caps.

I have used Vicoden in the past and it seems as soon as it wears off I am hurting worse. If you are only taking Vicoden, you might consider combining smaller doses of different meds.

My mom had excrutiating pain with degenerative disc disease. Her pain specialist had the best results by reducing the Vicoden and adding others meds.

She was on Lortab which I believe are similar to Vicoden. Also, the following:

    Darvocette (for breakthrough pain)
Lidoderm pain patches (which my mom felt helped more than anything).

It seems pain meds need to be changed or tweaked often - it is "trial and error" what helps. If you are still suffering perhaps the doctor can add or rotate you on different meds.

If you are feeling like you are and still suffering I would definitely tell the doctor or see a new doctor who will work with you to get better pain relief.

Sometimes I think we let things go along feeling like there is nothing more to do.

I have been on all those except soma.
    no difference being off them.
I recently got ultram, it gives me a bad headache..

I try ibuprofen sometimes in between. but it doesnt do much.

Look into laser treament. I understand the pain as I have had it for 40 years. We are eliminating what trigger point at a time, and we started with the hips, and my pain is virtually gone.

I was about to give up when I read about this, trust me it's worth looking into.

    Hope you fell better..

    Dear cmt
Sorry to hear of your pain. Mine is exactly in the same places as yours. The feet pain is kind of new to me.Pain meds only take the edge off for an hour or so.God bless and I hope you find some relief soon. many gentle hugs...
