I am always running into recipes that call for plain yogurt. I can't find any of the smaller yogurt cups in plain so I always buy the large one and end up throwing most of it away because a recipe will only call for a small amount so that why I was wanting to know if you can freeze it? P

And thanks for asking. I always have to buy the big ones too. Here is the answer I got when I went onto Yahoo.

    Can yogurt be frozen?

Unflavored yogurt can be frozen up to one month, and flavored yogurts (sweetened and containing fruit) can be frozen up to five months. Longer storage results in separation.

Thanks alot, that is so helpful. I wonder why they don't sell them in the smaller cups but oh well, I will now ration it out and freeze. P
