I have been having left kidney pain and flank pain. It is not there always but comes and goes. My left shoulder and left upper back and left upper chest are all veryyy tight .....so I am not sure if its something muscular or more. Sometimes I think its muscular and sometimes I think no , its something deeper. Its like a wave of pain or spasm will come and it pains in the kidney, flank and left upper chest/heart area- all at the same time as though there is something connecting the chest/heart and kidney.

Anyone has similar or any insights ? Will be showing a doc next week.

    With love to all :)

    Dear Leah,

I did have an ultrasound a few months back and that was clear.

I think it is relieved by positional changes but I am not totally sure.

I took an ultracet ( tramadol ) today and pain is MUCH lesser.

    Thanks for your love. :)

Yes I have tried all those. They help for a small while.

I am thinking it should be muscular as if the ultracet diminishes the pain it should be muscular - I am not sure if I am right in thinking this way but just my thoughts..

I have read pectoral trigger points and trapezius trigger points can also mimic these pains ....

feels as if my left upper shoulder and left chest and back kind of "freeze" ( I dont mean cold ) - I mean tight - :)

    Love,
