How young do you think kids can start getting FM? And how can one really tell? I am deeply concerned that I am going to pass this on to my kid.

In Dr. St. Amand's book, "What your Doctor May Not Tell You About Fibromyalgia" he gives cases of them being very young. If any of you have been scanning the message board like I have been and it seems like I mention this book a lot - well, it totally changed my daugher's life (thus mine). I realize it may not help everyone and it may take awhile to find a doctor who will listen but stick to it! I am doing EVERYTHING I can to get the word out there that there is something that may help - wish someone would have done that back in 1999 when my daughter was told she had FMS. Good luck!
