  1. Hey there, ((((LadybugMandy & ALL))))

I just read your post, 'losing will to fight... oh have I been there, repeatedly. So many times.

Most of the stuff my doctors, specialists, surgeons have tried on me over the last 8 yrs, either fails to work at ALL, from the get-go.. OR, ocasionally (oddly enough, some of the more NATURAL routes (which I prefer, over MOREEEE MEDS!!!) have elicited extremely violent reactions, when they *do* or *did* work... more often then not though, they failed me all together.

However, through the years, there *have* been a few treatments, where I got so thrilled, from either the 'effects'.. or ODDLY ENOUGH, some of the unexpected SIDE EFFECTS!

But, they are always short lived, quickly reach an 'improvement flatline/plateau', and are NEVER able to be replicated, at a later time... :-(

Not to mention, anything that HAS ever worked, has ALWAYS come out of pocket, and been REDICULOUSLY costly... so, even if I had 'plateaued, even at a 5%, 10%, ANY percentage of improvement, financially, I've never been able to continue those few treatments, let alone, add the two or 3 things *together*, for 6 months, etc..

Anyways, there are 2-3 songs, that I just ALWAYS feel are nearly 'soundtracks' to my life.. (my entire soundtrack... would be more like a 'box set' :)

Anyways, songs say what I'm thinking, or feeling, a lot of times, better than *I* can, myself..

I hope they do not get you *down*, they are to let you know, that a lot of us, on varying levels, and, varying *times* HAVE, TRULY BEEN THERE... (i'm there now.. -- AGAIN)

So, Here are some song lyrics, I feel pertain to how a lot of us feel, at sometime or another...

  2. This song is by a band called Toad The Wet Sprocket, and it's called "Something's Always Wrong" :

Another day I call and never speak
And you would say nothing's changed at all
And I can't feel much hope for anything
If I won't be there to catch you if you fall

    ('main chorus') Again
    It seems we meet
    In the spaces
    In between
    We always say
    It won't be long
    But something's always wrong

Another game of putting things aside
As if we'll come back to them some time
A brace of hope a pride of innocence
And you would say something has gone wrong

    Again
    It seems we meet
    In the spaces
    In between
    We always say
    It won't be long
    But something's always wrong

    [1]
"Again we fail to meet and mend
    The spaces safe between intents
We say too much and long been gone,
    Oh but something's always wrong."

    (main chorus)
    [2]
"Again we fail to make amends
And wend our way between intents
And looking back, not moving on
    Oh but something's always wrong."
    (main chorus)
    [3]
"Again we fail to meet and mend
    The spaces safe between intents
We say too much, too long been gone
    Oh but something's always wrong.
