Does anyone have any advice about treating voice loss?

I had this happen many many years ago and I don't remember what I did.

I've had a cold, which is mostly better though not gone entirely. And I have been under a lot of stress, although not all of it bad.

Seems to me I was told once that stress has something to do with it.

Should I remain silent and not even try to whisper? Or can I whisper without it doing harm? I don't know.

We are going to our Kennel Club's Holiday Party this even and are supposed to go the AKC Dog Museum Wine and Cheese Open House tomorrow afternoon.

I don't know how I can be around my friends and not even whisper.

By the way, my husband thinks it's wonderful ;-)

I'm just getting over the same thing.
Doctor didnt tell me to do anything special for it.
I wasn't able to stop talking because I have the kids to take care of. I always need to tell someone to stop or start something. lol
I wasn't able to yell over their playing to get their attention.
I woke up this morn. with more voice.
So maybe tomorrow will be better for you.
If not smile and nod your head a lot.
    - husbands- lol
