lasar dentistry: no anesthetic required, serriously

    I had two fillings done at a lasar dentistry place here in Calgary last week, and I didn't need anesthetic for either one. Using lasars instead of drills, it doesn't hurt. The dentist said that if a cavity is very deep, then they can use freezing, but most of the time they don't need it.

    Just thought I'd share this. Some of us here are sensitive to anesthetic, or else it wears off during the procedure or doesn't work. And it ALWAYS hurts having a needle stuck in your gums, and it's no fun being numb for the day. Good to know there are other options. :)
