    Hi Missy.I just answered your post about seronegative RA.I was DX with Reiter's Syndrome which is the same as reactive arthritis.I have had this since about 2002 but I was not DX until 2004.

    You may want to look up seronegative spondyloarthopathys and read about these conditions because you can have one and then it can turn into another because these conditions can overlap one another and if you were Dx with reactive arthritis there is a chance that if you have this gene type then it could turn into ankylosing spondylitis.

    I only know this because I have done so much research on these conditions and in my case I beleive that mine has progressed onto ankylosing spondylitis.

    This is a very painful disease and it can cause damage just like rhumatoid arthritis and it can effect your eyes and organs and it is considered an autoimmune disease.
