According to Dr St Amand...once tissues run out of places to accept phosphates, the joints deteriorate.

The phosphate debris is in crystaline form. When soft tissue is saturated and can hold no more, the body starts to depsoit these crystals in the joints causing osteoarthritis. While he says that the Guai will pull the crystals out of the soft tissue, he says the O/A is permanent.

I was diagnosed with osteoarthritis in my hands and knees. I figured it was permanent. Well, after the Guai really started pulling the stuff out of my tender points, I started getting relief in my hands and knees. I wrote to Claudia Merek, Dr. St. Amand's co-author and asked her about this. She said she also experienced a lessening of pain and stiffness in her O/A from the Guai. This was a benefit I didn't expect from the Guai and am very grateful.

    Love, Mikie
