    See link http://well.blogs.nytimes.com/2012/09/18/chronic-fatigue-syndrome-back-to-square-1/?ref=health

Dr. Lipkin views CFS as a major disease and intends to use the blood samples collected to search for an alternate cause. Some good has come from all this I suppose.

wasn't he going to also test for a bunch of different things? Wasn't there suppose to be some really big collaboration study and they were going to just test like for every infection they can think of? Maybe I am just getting confused.

I had been both elated and depressed when the possibility of XMRV causing CFS was first discovered.

Anyways, that is encouraging that Dr. Lipkin sees CFS as a "major" disease - maybe coupled with Obama's directive to the NIH to elevate the priority of CFS, we may finally get some serious research money, or at least a beginning -

Good to see you too! I hope you and your computer are doing better :)

(I think I remember you saying that your computer, as well as you, were not doing so well for awhile)
