Last spring I told you all that I was trying some new things and would report back.
I went to a clinic in Springville Utah called "Living Young." Here are a few of the methods they used.
    1. Dried blood analasys. Live blood analasys. These showed that I parasites, heavy metals. It also showed
that I have inflamation in the lungs and that there was stress on the heart and very low adrenal function.

    2. They used a B.E,F.E. Unit - It is used to pull toxins from the body. You soak your feet in a copper kettle.
It was amazing to see what was coming out. The water started looking white (supposedly candida) Next, it began to look orange. (Heavy metals) etc. the list goes on.

    3. The Metatron Rattler is an electronic device that increases circulation. Some days they would have you stand on it. Other times, if my back was hurting I would lay on it. It was very soothing. There was a doctor that worked there that was using it for bone regeneration in his jaw. He got amazing results. I noticed after I went home, 13 days later, that my spider veins were gone. This wasn't long lasting but I was told that if I would do it for longer I could get lasting results. The Rattler breaks up congestions anywhere in the body and also kills parasites.

    4. Colon hydrotherapy - Amazing!! You could see on a screen what garbage, parasites, etc that had been clinging to your intestinal walls. This was the most beneficial part of the clinic stay for me.

    5. Chiropractic - Their practitioner was a guru in my estimation,. He found promblems in my body that had been
    there for 28 years.

    6. Lets not forget all of the various massage therapists. They were heavenly. Although the lymphatic drainage one was pretty rough it accomplished a lot.

If given the oportunity I'd go again. The stay cost me about 2,100. Before I went in I couldn't walk up my stairs.
After about a week of being back home I could go up stairs, go for short walks and many other things that I hadn't done for a while.

On a less than enthusiastic note ***. After being home for about a month, my adrenals began to shut down again. My tried and true chiropractor from my own town explained that my body had worked so hard at healing that the adrenals has over worked but alls well that ends well. He got the adrenals back up and running.

Well this post is quite long enough. I've learned a lot since then and will try to post more often. Right now I'm terribly busy teaching 4th grade and being a new Grandmother. ( This is my 4th) Hugs to all. Sue2

glad to see you're back. i wish i could afford something like that but my insurance won't pay for it. i wish there was a way to force insurance companies to pay for alternative treatments. i mean, my healthcare should be my choice, don't you think? cindi

I've been trying to save money to re-do the carpeting in my house for years. That's the money I used. I've decided that the carpet doesn't matter as much as I thought. Your health has to come first. I learned so much while I was there. I brought back info . for others, including my chiropractor. He has already ordered some of the
equipment that I used while I was at the clinic.

I can't stress enough how important it is to share everything that we learn about these diseases. Don't be afraid to talk about it. I've met many people who have just happened to be in the same grocery line, or at the same dentist office, etc. You get talking to them and all of a sudden you find out they have the same disease or know someone who does. You exchange vital websites, resources, phone #'s etc. You've just made a new friend and perhaps info that will give you relief. Bless us all that we won't be shy and that we will our own best advocats.

I went to the dermatologist the other day. He looked at my health profile and wanted to know more. He used to be an internist and shared his thoughts with me. He asked if I was able to find a doctor to help. I told him that I travel from Utah to Calif. to see a specialist. His words to me were "hang on to him, because they are few and far between and that most doctors don't care to hear about it, learn about it etc. " He truely had empathy for all of us and wished he could help. He said he knew what we were up against. He was appalled when I shared with him that one rhuematologist put me in rehab because he thought I was a drug addict. He couldn't tell the difference between a drug addict and someone in adrenal failure. I gained a new friend that day in an unlikely place. "A doctor's office!" I'm really on one today, aren't I?

Almost everything we need comes from sources other than the medical profession. Somehow we've got to find friends in the right places, politically and otherwise to further our cause so that insurance will cover our needs.

Thanks for all the info. Are their any web sites regarding the machinery involved with your treatment? I do believe that our colons harbor stuff that is just plain toxins that poison our systems. I think that people with FMS/CFS are more suseptible to its adverse effects.

I remember years ago. I had had a terrible migraine for dayyysss without relief. I finally had a large evacuatory event (how's that? LOL!) and the headache went away. The doctor looked at me as though I was nuts! I felt way better though. I know that it was just toxins. dolsgirl
