My first suggestion would be to try Fibromyalgia Network, since they have a huge database of docs all over who were recommended by their subscribers who have FMS. You can call them at 1-800-853-2929.
My second suggestion is based on my knowledge from doing web research that the Univ. of Alabama at Birmingham has a center esp. for the treatment of Mitral Valve Prolapse Syndrome (MVPS). People come from all over to be evaluated there. Since 75% of FMS patients have this MVP or MVPS, and since the info I got on their website listed FMS as one of the symptoms of MVPS, I'll bet they could treat you, or that they would know someone who could (in case you are part of the 25% who don't have an MVP).

This is my first visit to this site.I hope I am posting correctly.I have used Dr David McClain(sp?) a rhuematologist in Bham for years. He is very good and has a very special interest in Fibromialgia. He has an office at Brookwood Med Center and in Inverness. The only problem is a very long wait usually in the waiting room.
