Has anyone every heard of a pill that is like lortab, but doesnt have tylenol? My doctors nurse said that she started taking them, and her liver function has been running better.

The pain killer in it is called "hydrocodone". It's found in: Vicodin®, Lortab®, Lorcet®, Hycodan®, and Vicoprofen®.

The Vicoprofen tablet is 7.5 mg of Hydrocodone Bitrate with 200 mg of Ibuprofen (Motrin). Since it uses ibuprofen instead of Tylenol, it might be less dangerous for your liver...

Yes- there are meds like Lortab without Tylenol or ibuprofen. I take oxycodone (like Percocet) without any Tylenol. I didn't want any of the dangers of too much Tylenol.

You can get the same dose by your Dr. tweaking things. Just ask.
